Volkswagen Beetle — GAKA STUDIO
The Beetle as an icon, but in our universe: classic curves, attitude color, and full “real ad” energy… built with AI. Creative piece, not official.
The Challenge
The challenge here was touching something as recognizable as the Beetle without turning it into cheap fanart or a joke. We wanted to frame it like a real car spot: careful light, angles that respect the curve, that almost nostalgic presence — but all generated with AI. We tested whether we could keep the car’s personality — that rounded, almost friendly silhouette — and drop it into scenes with more attitude: wet street at night, low sun at the end of the day, cinematic mood. It’s not just “look, cute car,” it’s “can we give a global icon campaign weight without having the car on set, without the brand, without breaking it?”. This is our tone experiment: classic affection, serious staging. Creative piece, not official.
Our Approach
The challenge isn’t just keeping the same Beetle in every angle—it’s holding its identity across decades and lives. Eras shift, light and people change; the silhouette still leads. From family-toned black-and-white to saturated ’80s and today’s quiet calm, the car remains the thread. Consistency over nostalgia. Creative piece, unofficial.
